LIFE IS A TREE, TREE IS LIFE
A Tree Planting Project
The Mandaluyong West Rotary Family achieved a landmark milestone in collaborative service through Project LTTL: Life is a Tree, Tree is Life. This tree-planting initiative was a premier joint project that seamlessly integrated the efforts of the Rotary Club of Mandaluyong West, the Rotaract Club of Mandaluyong West, and the Interact Club of Mandaluyong West. The project served as a powerful manifestation of the "Unite for Good" spirit, bringing together seasoned professionals, young professionals, and student leaders to address the urgent need for environmental protection.
The initiative was led by Good President Angeli Ancheta (Rotary), Good President Tara Michelle Ramos (Rotaract), and Good President Mariam Kylle Saburit (Interact). This "triple-threat" leadership ensured that every branch of the Rotary family was represented and active. Supported by a dedicated team of Past Presidents and Rotarians, the group successfully mobilized nearly 100 volunteers to plant 200 fruit-bearing trees (including Makopa, Avocado, Calamansi, Guava, and Sampaloc) and 13 Narra trees. By working in tandem with 14 external partners and government agencies, the Mandaluyong West clubs demonstrated that the Rotary family is the central engine for community transformation, proving that we are truly People of Action when we work as one.
