GIve Love on Rotary Day

To celebrate World Rotary Day, the project was a collaborative effort spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Mandaluyong West and the Rotaract Club of Mandaluyong West, in partnership with FLS Group, Hello Dolly Baby Wear, Prestige Alliance, BJMP Parañaque, D’Robe Security Agency, and Round Table Philippines.

The primary objective was to provide holistic support through the donation of essential supplies, including diapers, wipes, baby wear, and sacks of rice, alongside household and sanitation essentials like liquid soap, detergent, Zonrox, and Lysol. To enhance the nursery's environment, electric fans were also provided for improved ventilation.

A standout feature of this mission was the direct clinical intervention provided by the volunteers. Despite an ongoing flu outbreak within the facility, Rotaractors who are experienced pediatric nurses were able to apply specialized nursing care to the infants. Their professional expertise allowed for safe health assessments and care even under strict medical precautions. Furthermore, a Jollibee birthday party was organized for infants celebrating in early 2026 to provide emotional upliftment. Through "window encounters," the team ensured social stimulation for the children while maintaining a sterile environment. The project concluded with educational talks for orphanage staff to ensure the continued well-being of the infants.
